Common questions about our UK mail-in phone and device repair service

How long does a mail-in phone repair take?
Most repairs are completed within 1–3 working days of receiving your device. We'll send you an SMS and email as soon as it's ready to be returned.
Do you cover the postage to return my device?
We return devices using Royal Mail Tracked 48 as standard, included in the repair price. For express next-day return postage, there is a small additional charge — let us know when booking.
Is it safe to post my phone for repair?
Yes! We recommend Royal Mail Tracked 48 or Tracked 24 with added compensation cover. Always pack your device well in bubble wrap inside a sturdy box, and keep your proof of postage. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit to us, so please use an insured service.
What if you can't fix my device?
If we can't repair your device for any reason we'll contact you immediately and return it to you — there is no charge if we can't fix it.
Do I need to include my password or PIN?
For some repairs (e.g. screen testing, software) we may need your PIN to verify the repair is complete. You can set a temporary PIN before posting and change it when you receive the device back. This is entirely optional.
What warranty do you offer on mail-in repairs?
All our repairs carry a 180-day warranty against the same fault. This covers parts and labour — we will re-repair or replace at no cost if the same issue returns within the warranty period.
Can I track my mail-in repair?
Yes — you'll receive a job reference number when we accept your booking. You can track the status of your repair at any time on our Repair Status Tracker. We'll also text and email you at every key stage.
Which areas do you cover for mail-in repairs?
We accept mail-in repairs from anywhere in the UK — England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Simply post your device to our workshop in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, and we'll repair it and send it back to you.
