Rear Glass Adhesive For iPhone Duo Back Panel Bonding Glue Strip

A pre-cut rear glass adhesive strip for the iPhone Duo, used to bond the back glass panel to the frame once it has been taken off. The gasket is die cut to the outline of the Duo rear panel, so it follows the edge of the chassis without any trimming.

Once an original back panel has been lifted, the factory adhesive is stretched and contaminated, and it will not hold a second time. Re-seating the glass on old adhesive leaves gaps along the edge that let dust and moisture work their way inside, and the panel will usually lift again at a corner. A fresh gasket restores an even bond all the way round and pulls the panel back down flush with the frame.

The iPhone Duo is Apple's first folding iPhone, with a Ceramic Shield back. This strip is for the rear glass panel only and does not fit the front screen or the folding inner display.

Supplied with peel-off liners on both faces. Clean the frame, position the strip, remove the top liner, then seat the glass and apply even pressure around the edge. Suitable for repair workshops and for anyone fitting a back glass at home.
