Each piece is a pre-cut screen adhesive gasket for the iPhone Duo front screen, used to bond the display back into the frame after a screen replacement or any repair that needs the display lifted. The seal is die cut to the outline of this model, so it follows the edge of the frame without any trimming.

Once a display has been taken off, the original adhesive is stretched and contaminated and will not hold a second time. Refitting the screen on old adhesive leaves gaps along the edge that let dust and moisture in, and the display can lift at a corner. A fresh gasket restores an even bond all the way round and helps pull the display down flush with the frame.

The gasket comes on peel-off liners. Scrape away all of the old adhesive and clean the frame with isopropyl alcohol, lay the gasket on the frame, remove the liners, then seat the display and press evenly around the edge. No phone can be guaranteed water resistant once it has been opened, so avoid exposing a repaired phone to water.
