iPhone battery dying early or swelling? We fit a new battery in your iPhone at our Sheffield store, or by tracked Fix-By-Post from anywhere in the UK & Ireland. As an Independent Repair Provider we offer genuine Apple parts sourced from Apple, or a lower-priced aftermarket battery.

Genuine parts sourced from Apple. We offer genuine Apple parts sourced from Apple. We use Apple diagnostics, tools, and processes to make sure your iPhone battery repair is done safely and reliably. Genuine parts sourced from Apple are paired so Battery Health can work as it should.

Aftermarket battery. A high-quality third-party battery at a lower price. Aftermarket batteries are not genuine parts purchased from Apple — we will say so before you book. Please select genuine or aftermarket before you order.

How long does it take?

Aftermarket batteries are fitted the same day. Genuine parts sourced from Apple take around 3 days.

How do I use the mail-in service?

• After making your order, you will receive an online order email — print this out.
• If you wish to pay via cash, include this with your order form.
• Take out any SIM card and keep it safe, as this is not needed.
• Having genuine parts sourced from Apple fitted? Turn OFF Find My iPhone — Apple diagnostics need it off to complete the install.
• Wrap your phone in bubble wrap or similar and place in a padded envelope, along with your order.
• Send your phone to us at the address below via Royal Mail Special Delivery.

Once we receive your phone, we will email you and give you access to our mail-in progress checker. Once repaired we will email you a final repair report and return your phone.

Walk-in repair service

Prefer to pop into the shop? Most phones can be repaired the same day, and walk-in is normally cheaper because there are no postal costs. Address and opening times are here.

Questions we're often asked

Are you an Apple Authorised Service Provider?
No. FoneFunShop is an Independent Repair Provider. We are not an Apple Authorized Service Provider. Repairs are carried out by FoneFunShop, not by Apple.

Will this keep my Apple warranty?
Unless required by law, damage caused by using parts that are not genuine parts purchased from Apple, and/or repairs conducted by FoneFunShop, may be excluded from Apple’s warranty. Any warranty on our workmanship is provided by FoneFunShop.

Six month warranty

Every battery we fit is covered for 6 months — the part and our workmanship. The warranty does not cover physical or liquid damage.
