This set includes a 48-page softcover handbook that teaches construction, painting basics, and the fundamentals of gameplay. Sixteen plastic push-fit miniatures are provided, designed to assemble easily without glue. The Space Marine half of the set features five Infernus Marines, heavily armoured soldiers equipped with devastating flame weaponry to control close-range engagements. The Tyranid half includes ten Termagants, agile creatures that fire living ammunition, along with a Ripper Swarm that rushes weakened enemies and strips them to the bone.
A double-sided 30 by 22.4 inch gaming mat is included, offering two distinct battlefield environments. The set also provides a range ruler, six dice, and twenty-two cardboard tokens and markers to represent objectives, walls, and in-game effects.
