Z3X Easy Jtag Plus Box e-Sim Edition (Full Set)

The Z3X Easy Jtag Plus Box Full Set is a programmer for two jobs: JTAG repair and boot recovery, and mobile forensics and physical data recovery. It reads and writes eMMC, UFS, NAND and SPI memory, and it connects by JTAG, ISP or chip-off. When a phone will not start, you can use it to recover the boot by rewriting or reconfiguring the memory, or to read the data off at board level.

The Full Set adds the Z3X eMMC socket, so you can read or program a removed eMMC chip directly. It takes BGA153/169, BGA162/186, BGA221 and BGA529 packages. UFS sockets are not included. They are sold separately, for example the ICFriend Easy Jtag Plus UFS 6 in 1 Socket.

e-Sim edition: the authentication chip is on the logic board. There is no activation card to insert.

JTAG repair and boot recovery features

• JTAG access, with a JTAG pin finder for locating test points.
• eMMC dead-boot recovery, including Samsung eMMC dead recovery.

• eMMC, UFS 2.0, UFS 2.1 and NAND readback, including Apple PPN NAND.
• SPI flash and SD card reading.
• Android file explorer for recovered eMMC partitions.

Box and software

• e-Sim edition: the activation chip is on the board, with no card to insert.
• Works with Z3X software through the onboard PC/SC-CCID USB reader.
• Open SDK for use with other tools.

It runs on Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10 and 11. A setup note is included with the order.
