UFS eMMC ISP Adapter For Z3X Easy Jtag Plus Box (With Encryption Chip)

This UFS and eMMC ISP adapter connects to the Z3X Easy JTAG Plus Box and gives in-system programming (ISP) access to a phone's storage chip while it is still on the logic board. It is fitted with the Z3X encryption chip, which the Easy JTAG Plus Box needs to work with the adapter.

Wires are soldered from the adapter to the ISP test points (pinouts) on the board, so the box can talk directly to the UFS or eMMC memory. There is no need to remove the chip, which lowers the risk of damage when the phone is dead, will not boot, or is physically damaged.

It is used in mobile forensics and data recovery to extract user data from the storage, and for firmware read, write and restore work on Android devices.

Check that ISP pinouts are documented for the board you are working on, and that the Easy JTAG software supports the device, before you start.
