Windows Laptop Tablet eMMC Data Recovery Service

Windows laptop or tablet dead or will not boot, and it uses eMMC memory? Your documents, photos, videos, emails and user files may still be on the chip. Send us the device and we will remove and read the eMMC chip, then go through the dump and give you back your data as readable files.

Please check your device uses eMMC memory before ordering. If you are not sure, contact us first.

Please note

This process means removing the eMMC chip from the motherboard, which destroys the device. Only use this service if you have tried other ways to get your data back. There is no guarantee the data can be recovered until the chip has been removed and read, and we are not responsible for a device that is destroyed in the process if no data can be recovered.

What you get back

• Folders of recovered documents, photos, videos and user files
• A summary report of what we found

What can be recovered depends on the condition of the device and the chip. We will tell you what we find.

How to get it to us

• Drop off at our shop, 132 Handsworth Road, Sheffield S9 4AE.
• Post it to us. Get in touch first and we will tell you how to send it safely.

If you already have a raw dump of the chip, you can drop it off or post it to us on a memory stick or USB drive instead, and use our Mobile Data Carving Service, which starts from £119.99 inc VAT.

If the data cannot be recovered

Sometimes the damage is worse than expected or the chip itself has failed. This service is non refundable, as it uses expensive tools and skilled engineers.

UK customers only

This service is only available to customers in the UK.

Not for evidential use

This is a data recovery service for private customers and businesses. It is not a police or evidential service, chain of custody cannot be guaranteed, and our results are not intended for court use.
