Z3X Easy Jtag Plus Box e-Sim Edition

The Z3X Easy Jtag Plus Box is a programmer for two jobs: JTAG repair and boot recovery, and mobile forensics and physical data recovery. It reads and writes eMMC, UFS, NAND and SPI memory, and it connects by JTAG, ISP or chip-off. When a phone will not start, you can use it to recover the boot by rewriting or reconfiguring the memory, or to read the data off at board level.

e-Sim edition: the authentication chip is on the logic board. There is no activation card to insert.

JTAG repair and boot recovery features

• JTAG access, with a JTAG pin finder for locating test points.
• eMMC dead-boot recovery, including Samsung eMMC dead recovery.
• eMMC firmware updates and JEDEC 5.1 reconfiguration.
• eMMC, UFS 2.0, UFS 2.1, NAND and SPI flash programming (write).
• Automatic and manual repair modes.

Forensics and data recovery features

• Chip-off reads of eMMC and UFS memory with a compatible socket (sold separately).
• ISP reads of eMMC with the chip left on the board.
• JTAG access on boards that will not boot, for reading memory in place.
• eMMC, UFS 2.0, UFS 2.1 and NAND readback, including Apple PPN NAND.
• SPI flash and SD card reading.
• Android file explorer for recovered eMMC partitions.

Box and software

• e-Sim edition: the activation chip is on the board, with no card to insert.
• Works with Z3X software through the onboard PC/SC-CCID USB reader.
• Open SDK for use with other tools.

It runs on Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10 and 11. A setup note is included with the order.
