Collection: Faraday Bags

Faraday bags (also called RF shield or signal-blocking bags) block all wireless signals - WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, RFID and mobile/GSM - from reaching the device sealed inside. Use them to stop keyless car theft, prevent phone tracking, or secure devices for digital forensics.

Faraday bags or RF Shield bags are enclosures formed by conducting materials, either solid or mesh.

They prevent WiFi, Bluetooth, RF and GSM signals from connecting with the device once sealed inside the faraday bag.

How Do The Faraday Bags Work?
Faraday bags are enclosures formed by conducting materials, either solid or mesh. These specialist materials block external static electrical fields, (including radio waves). They are named after the British physicist Michael Faraday, who built the first one in 1836. An external radio field will cause the electrical charges within the conducting material to redistribute themselves, to cancel the radio fields effect in the cages interior.
