Forgotten the 4-digit passcode on your older iPhone? Send it to us and our engineers will recover the code so you're back in your phone — with all your data intact.
What this service does
You post us your locked iPhone. Using our in-house unlocking hardware (including the IP-Box and MFC Dongle), we brute-force the 4-digit passcode for you. Once recovered, we tell you the code and you have full access to your iPhone as normal.
None of your data is deleted — contacts, photos, videos, calendar and email are all exactly as they were before you forgot the passcode. Even a "disabled" iPhone can be recovered.

The iOS version is the important bit
It must be iOS 7 — not iOS 6, and not iOS 8 or above. The right model on the wrong iOS can't be done, so please confirm the version using the steps below before ordering. Not sure? Message us first.
How do I check my iOS version if I'm locked out of the menu?
You can read the iOS version straight off the phone with free software called iFunBox — no passcode needed:
- Download iFunBox from dl.i-funbox.com
- Install and run it on a Windows PC
- Connect your iPhone to the PC (close iTunes if it opens)
- Click your phone when it appears in the bottom-left corner
- Your iOS version is now shown — you're looking for a 7.x.x
Quick model check first: an iPhone 5s or older is a candidate; an iPhone 6 or newer is too new, whatever the iOS. If you can't run iFunBox, send us a photo of the phone's back (with its tiny model number, e.g. A1457) and we'll advise before you post.
How to use the service

- Prepare your iPhoneRemove and keep your SIM card. Charge the battery if you can, then turn the phone off.
- Package it wellWrap the phone in bubble wrap, place it in a jiffy bag with your order form (and payment, if paying by cheque/postal order/cash).
- Post it to usSend via Royal Mail Special Delivery so it reaches us safely and insured.
- We recover the passcodeWe'll email to confirm arrival and give you access to our Mail-In Service Progress Checker to track the job.
- We return your iPhoneOnce recovered we email your Final Repair Report, return the phone by Royal Mail Special Delivery, and send your tracking number.

Can you recover the passcode even if my iPhone is disabled?
Yes — a disabled iPhone is no problem.
Can you recover my iCloud login details?
No. This service recovers the device passcode only. We cannot recover iCloud/Apple ID logins or remove iCloud Activation Lock.
Will I lose any data?
No. Recovery gets you back into the phone without wiping it, so your data stays exactly as it was.
How much does it cost?
The price is shown above. There's a small extra charge for insured Royal Mail Special Delivery return postage — select that shipping option at checkout.
How do I pay?
Pay online by card or PayPal. Prefer not to pay online? Choose telephone payment (we'll call you once it's done), or pay by cheque / postal order / cash included with your iPhone.
How long does it take?
Quick — we recover the passcode within 3 working days of your iPhone arriving with us.
What if the passcode can't be recovered?
Our engineers and tools are very good, but if for any reason it can't be recovered we refund your payment minus return shipping costs.
