JCID DFU Cable - Auto DFU Recovery Tool for iPhone, iPad & Mac

The JCID DFU Cable is a repair accessory that places an iPhone, iPad or Mac into DFU mode automatically during firmware flashing and system recovery. It removes the need for manual button combinations or device disassembly, letting a technician trigger DFU in a single step.

Entering DFU mode by hand can be awkward and easy to mistime. This cable handles it for you and works whether the device is powered on, powered off or sitting on a locked screen, so the restore or flash can begin without a separate operational barrier.

Using it is straightforward: connect the cable to the device, connect the USB-A end to your computer, let the cable enter DFU mode, then start the flash or recovery from your software. The in-line module carries an 8-Pin connector and a USB-C connector for the device side, with status indicator lights to show the active mode.

The cable has a white finish with nickel-plated connectors and a compact in-line DFU module that is easy to keep on the bench or carry between jobs. The USB-A end plugs straight into a computer or repair station.

Compatibility covers the iPhone 8 to 16 series, iPad Pro 2021, Mac Pro models A1990, A2141 and A1989, and the Mac mini M1 A2348. The iPhone 17 series and iPad Pro 2024 are not currently supported.
