UP-828P Adapter SBGA199P - BGA199 Chip-Off Socket

Overview

The UP-828P Adapter SBGA199P is a chip-off socket adapter for 199-ball BGA, 0.65 mm ball pitch packages. It plugs into the UP-828P universal programmer and holds a chip that has been removed from its board, so its contents can be read, verified and written without soldering.

Takes 199-ball NAND memory found in early BlackBerry 9000 series handsets and other phones. In chip-off data recovery and digital forensics the chip is lifted from a damaged, locked or non-booting device and placed in the socket, and the UP-828P software saves a complete raw image of NAND flash for analysis in your own tools.
