UP-828P Adapter VBGA221P - BGA221 Chip-Off Socket

Overview

The UP-828P Adapter VBGA221P is a chip-off socket adapter for 221-ball VBGA packages. It plugs into the UP-828P universal programmer and holds a chip that has been removed from its board, so its contents can be read, verified and written without soldering.

Takes 221-ball memory such as eMCP and eMMC used in smartphones and tablets. In chip-off data recovery and digital forensics the chip is lifted from a damaged, locked or non-booting device and placed in the socket, and the UP-828P software saves a complete raw image of eMMC and eMCP for analysis in your own tools.
